I have a N7105 phone. Worked for about 2 months then I started losing connection. I have full signal display but cannot make or receive calls. Also my 3G just dies. i noticed that as I move around, I experience this issue. Not between areas but between sites. And I would have to reboot my phone to get registered on the network. Manually registering on the network does to work. Multiple calls to call center produced no results as the guys said it is my phone. A trip to the VC shop in Tygervalley got me half way. The assistant told me that it was my APN settings which were wrong and for R99 he would fix it. Being cheap, I said I would ask call center for them. Call center said my LTE settings had not being activated and was immediately activated. Got an SMS stating that. But that has not helped me at all. I still have dropped connections and still rebooting my phone. Even a 100m walk will result in this issue.
Am I doing something wrong? Is VC supposed to send me LTE settings to enable me to connect properly? Call centre failed to give me the APN settings. Surely paying R99 for APN settings is somewhat a rip off IMO.
