To who it may concern.
I hope this email reaches the correct person who will be competent enough to assist me.
During the course of July 2015 I had the above number transferred to my name for an amount of R279.82. This was to be subscription and airtime limit. After this amount has been utilized my son had to purchase airtime for further usage. To my understanding this was to be a pre-paid phone.
The handset on my account to the amount of R263.16 is payable by myself till end of contract term.
The above was the agreement and I even paid the penalty for the cancellation and transfer to my name.
After the phone had been put on soft lock I enquired as to the amount outstanding on the account and was given attached statement marked 10 . This is clearly an indication that the phone was never a pre-paid after the contract monies were utilized. My son obviously made calls until he was supposed to run out of airtime and then purchase time. This is clearly not been the case.
My monthly payment is to be R553.94 for the subscription and the second hand set that I took responsibility for. As you will note I have been loyal in my payments of R700 per month and other months little less due to thinking I am in credit.
My request to you is to please furnish me with the contract I signed at your store in Cape Gate Centre. I have driven around to this store, the one in Durbanville and Tygervalley and to no avail. I have also sent several request via email and one just referred to the other with no success to date. These are all the emails that have been contacted wctrade@vodacom.co.za , vodacom4ucapegate.sales2@vodadealers.co.z , vspdocumentmanager@vodacom.co.za , selina.ngcobo@vodacom.co.za . This is very poor for a company of your status that none of the aforementioned can be of assistance.
I am a pensioner with limited income, but if I was placed under a misconception at the time of signing the contract, I will find the funds to sort this matter. I firstly require the contract before any further payment, and should I not receive same by close of business Monday 12 September 2016 I will refer this matter to the Office of the Consumer.
