Good afternoon,
I've read through this site and the information I was able to gather is that in order to qualify for a premature upgrade at Vodacom you need to be in month 13 of your contract and spend above R1200pm.
I henceforth phoned Vodacom upgrades (0821959) to try and find out if I qualify, as I meet the above criteria, spending is above R1200 and month 13 will be next month. I desperately need to get a new phone, the old Xperia Z2 was stolen and unfortunately I messed up with my insurance cover and my current HTC of 6 years is dying rapidly. I was advised that the criteria has changed to 1 month prior to upgrade date due to legislation, ie March 2016 (contract anniversary is June 2016).
Can anyone advise me if this is truly the case or if the call centre agent is not as knowledgeable as she would like to think.
Thanks in advance for any assistance.
