Not Impressed with Vodacom Upgrade services

I recently upgraded my contract (through the Vodacom central upgrade office) and despite my numerous request for the LTE Samsung Galaxy Note 2 they sent me the standard version. This is appalling as I live in Cape Town and when LTE went live next year I would have noticed it then if i didn't know better. Was Vodacom going to change the phone for me then. I highly doubt it! This is sheer fraud btw!

The Samsung galaxy Note LTE model number is N7105 and NOT N7100 as many people would like you to believe. N7100 is NOT LTE compatible.

Secondly, the phone has been returned to Vodacom and now I must wait 14 days before they will reverse my upgrade so currently I have no new phone and I can't upgrade as my upgrade date is 2014. Also they told me that they have not received the LTE phone and no pricing for yet either hence they can't issue it. Not sure what this is then http://mybroadband.co.za/news/cellul...te-prices.html. Mybroadband care to explain... LOL!!

I can only suspect that unless you are in Jozi you aint getting an LTE phone end of story!

I am very disappointed in Vodacom and the fact that I am being punished for a Vodacom mess up does not make me happy!

And one last thing because of the 14 day wait I will now be charged for a phone I don't have! Nice one Vodacom nice one!!!
