Over the past 2 weeks my Samsung Pocket has from time to time lost connection to the Vodacom network, it however displays that it has 3 bars of signal (during this time you cannot make or receive calls, use data, or SMS). The only fix it to reboot the phone, which might solve the problem for 6 hours to a day if I am lucky.
I did a factory reset, which did not help. So I would like to try to reload the Android operating system (if that's a good idea). If it's a hardware fault I will book it in for repairs at Vodacom, the phone is less than 6 months old.
