Warranty repairs-unhappy.

Gave my Samsung note 4 in for repairs today for the 4th time to Vodacom.
The original complaint was that the unit would continually re-boot by itself anytime.
But after the repair the screen would lift up slightly and then nothing would respond when you touch the screen.
I would then have to press the screen down for it to work again.
It has been in twice to Vodacom for that after the first time with the same result a few days later.
Asked Vodacom for a replacement unit as it is in the 24th month of the warranty.
They said that they only give replacement units upto the 12th month of warranty.

Can anyone say whether this is the case ?
