LTE, 4G, H+ What is wrong with my handset?

I have two identical handsets, the Samsung J3 2016. Both are subscribed to Vodacom. One is Vodacom Business (which is my work telephone) and one to a Vodacom 4Gig data 50min talktime contract (my personal phone).

My work phone shows a 4G indicator mostly, jumping to 3G and 4G. My personal handset shows 3G and H+ all the time. Even though the handsets settings are both set to automatically select LTE/3G etc. They are next to each other and show different indictors.

Vodacom customer services first told me that LTE needed to be activated on their side. Now they say it was activated and that 4G and H+ is the same thing. If it is, why do the handsets not show it as the same thing?
