Good day all,
A couple months ago i got a call from "Vodacom" that they wanted to know if i wanted to change my contract to a different package. I did as it was going to save me a couple bucks. All went fine now problems what-so-ever. At the end of the month i changed from Smart S to u-Choose Smart S.
Now after about a week of being on the new contract i noticed i was not getting 4G in areas i used to get 4G and my wife who is on the Smart S contact was getting 4G fine, even at home. Side by side my device was 3G and hers was 4G.
So i called Vodacom and asked if they could enable 4G on my device which the lady on the other side said she did.\
Was told to turn off my phone for an hour and all will be fine when it comes back on. A day later, still no 4G so i called again and apparently the lady didn't send my device the settings for 4G. So this gentlemen said he would look into it but he couldnt......
long story short. i changed back to original contract as i noticed the change happened when the contract was changed. Is there any way other than having to contact them (was on the phone for 10mins and couldnt wait longer) to get the "settings" these people talk of?
Im really starting to get frustrated with this
