Hi everyone,
I really hope someone has a solution for me. I have a Huawei P9 (model EVA-L09, super happy, get one if you can) but for the life of me I can't figure out how to get it to connect to 4G/LTE. I live/work in the center of Cape Town which is supposed to have great LTE coverage. BUT my phone only ever connects to HDSPA+ or 3G. I have a 64K sim card (does it need to be 128K?). I have been to the local Vodacom store where even the tech expert was stumped as to why it wouldn't connect. I have tried both lte.vodacom.za and internet APNs to no affect. I have also tried forcing the phone to connect to the listed "Vodacom SA 4G" network, switched "carrier aggregation" off and preferred network is set to "4G/3G/2G". Nothing seems to help.
Please, someone, help!
