Attempted Phising Scam. Vodacom couldn't care less

On Friday night my phone got stolen out of my pocket. Within 5 minutes of noticing it was missing, I activated lost mode on Find My iPhone. The phone was then turned off. There was clearly a syndicate working at the venue as there were another 4 phones stolen that night

Tonight, I got an sms saying this: Name: IMG_0471.jpg
Views: 727
Size: 119.2 KB

I can clearly see by the punctuation, as well as the link that this SMS is no where close to legit. Im 90% sure its the person who stole my phone who's trying to get access to my account.

I just got off the phone with Vodacom to report this. The lady on the phone was extremely incompetent on the matter. She simply said she cannot track the number and when I, in return, asked what to do with the SMS, she simply said "Theres nothing Vodacom can do, I would just leave it and not reply if I were you". Surely theres something Vodacom can do with this information to help me out?! Its an 082 number after all. She didn't even bother to take down the details.

I guess Vodacom are not too phased because it just means another cell phone sale for them. Extremely disappointed.

Does anyone know where I go to with this? Is there any way to report/trace this number?
Im a student and worked for 6 months to pay for that phone, Ill do anything to get her back right now

Please be careful with this guys, they clearly knew I was using Find my iPhone and they tailored the SMS accordingly.
